Antique Black Marble Fireplace.
This deep black, antique mantel originates from the beautiful Herengracht in the heart of Amsterdam center from around the late 19th century.
The rectangular well profiled topshelf rest above a panels frieze centered by a plaque of Rouge Griotte. Both the beautiful black and reddish marble were quarried in the Belgium region Hautmont, Namur. The light scrolling console sits above paneled jabs on plain footblocks. Mantel can be altered to flush with the wall of one’s home.
