Dutch Rococo Fireplace Antique.
Very fine and decorative Rococo fireplace from Holland. Beautiful decorative piece, nice proportioned with serpentine breakfront shelf above a very decorative and swooping freeze centered by a superb central cartouche echoed in C scrolled endblocks which sit above angled, paneled swooping jambs supported by sturdy footblocks. Amazingly detailed, very impressive piece and colorful piece. The marble is rouge royal quarried in the Belgium region of Hainault and Namur.
