Portoro Marble Fireplace Mantel.
A very nice French fireplace mantel, executed in striking black and gold Italian Portoro marble.
This strong proportioned Louis Philippe console style fireplace is from the center of Paris.
Created in early 19th Century is adorned a beautiful decorated master bedroom in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
The thick profiled top above a frieze that’s in-between two nice decorative corbels mounted on straight jamb on top of rectangular endblocks.

This mantel is in a lovely condition, minor restorations through out. We have refinished the surface to give it a beautiful shine.
