The shaped topshelf has a lovely elegant designed profiled edge the frieze it rests on has lovely simplified floral decoration, one on both endblocks and a large foliage in the middel.
The paneling and decorations from the frieze resonated thru the elegant and tall jambs and end above the shaped footblocks.
Beautiful grand piece with the perfect patina.
