Louis XVI Fireplace Mantel in Limestone.
French Louis XVI Fireplace in soft toned limestone, very nice and original piece.
The central cartouche on a paneled frieze between to scrolled corbels above straight paneled jambs ending in rectangular endblocks.
Legs have ventilation holes in the sides, this can be restored or can be supplied with brass vent doors.
Come from the same building as SKU: 1587 would make a great pair!
