Very fine carved 19th century Louis XV mantelpiece from Paris.
Beautiful decorative piece, nice and tall proportioned with serpentine breakfront shelf above a fielded freeze centred by a large and superb foliate cartouche echoed on the endblocks which sit above angled, panelled jambs supported on sturdy footblocks.
